Brooklyn Academy of Music

New York City is a busy, noisy place, but at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, beautiful noise is made. The Academy of Music’s three venues each have a different atmosphere, along with different seating arrangements; the PJS Building can seat 2,109 people, the Fulton location can keep 874 audience members comfortably, while the Ashland location can seat 250. Transitioning to Fulton Street, it boasts the Harvey Theater, paying homage for Harvey Lichtenstein, the former executive director of Academy of Music who made the institution into what it is today. Last but not least, the Ashland location holds the Academy of Music Fishman Space (a theater) as well as the Fisher Hillman Studio, which acts as both a performance and rehearsal space. If you want to see some of the best theatrical and musical performances in Kings County, the Brooklyn Academy of Music is a great choice.
